REVIEW: Million Dollar Cowboy by Lori Wilde

The illegitimate son of a Texas ranching dynasty, Ridge Lockhart left home ten years ago with one goal: to become more successful than the father who never accepted him.

Mission accomplished, but now he’s back at the Silver Feather Ranch for a wedding—three days of best man duty until he can hightail it out. Then he spies Kaia Alzate, and suddenly leaving isn’t quite so appealing.

Kaia Alzate grew up the daughter of the ranch foreman, servants to the mighty Lockharts in the mansion. Back then, she followed Ridge around like a puppy. Now, she’s fighting the attraction she feels for this sexy CEO. She’s determined not to make a big mistake—but when Ridge takes her in his arms she’s stunned…could he be the man she’s waited for all along?

5 out of 5 stars

Lori Wilde is one of those authors who I've always been meaning to read, but kept putting off and now that I have read my first book by her, Million Dollar Cowboy, I am so kicking myself for not picking up one of her books sooner. Million Dollar Cowboy was a wonderful romance novel in every way. First off, the principle characters, Ridge and Kaia were amazing. They weren't perfect characters, but they were interesting and held my attention from start to finish. And their relationship was everything. I loved the way that everything played out between them throughout the book. And I especially loved that these two had history because it made the progression of their relationship so much more satisfying and made their HEA all the more sweeter. Add on all the family drama that occurred throughout this book and this novel was a near perfect romance. I loved this book so much and I so recommend it!
