From the New York Times bestselling author of Suddenly Royal comes the first in a sparkling new series about America’s favorite royal—the First Daughter.

Everyone makes mistakes, especially in college. But when you’re the daughter of the President of the United States, any little slip up is a huge embarrassment. Maddie McGuire’s latest error in judgment lands her in police custody, giving the press a field day. When Jake receives devastating news about the last remaining member of his unit, the darkness he’s resisted for so long begins to overwhelm him. Scared to let anyone close, he pushes Maddie away. But she isn’t about to give up on Jake that easily. ***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

I've been waiting for a new book by Nichole Chase to read for what seems like forever and now that I have read Bedmates the first book in her new series, I got to say that it was definitely worth the wait. This book was just so wonderful. I wasn't so sure how I would react to the fact that the main characters are the daughter of the President of the United States and the son of the Vice President because anything having to do with American politics usually irritates me, but honestly the love story in this book overshadowed any irritation I would have felt.

Maddie and Jake gave me so much life. I really couldn't get enough of them and the romance that bloomed between them. It was everything I needed it to be and so much more. On top of the awesome love story and two main characters in this book, this book also had some really awesome supporting characters that I really enjoyed reading about and that made me super excited to read the next book in this series to see which of them we are going to follow next. The only character I really didn't like in this book was Jake's mom. I really, really hated her and even at the end when she and Jake had their heart-to-heart I still couldn't stand her.

Anywho, overall, I really loved this book! It was great in so many ways and books like this are why I love this author so much!

Waiting on Wednesday: Holiday Baby Scandal by Jules Bennett

This week my pick for Waiting on Wednesday is Holiday Baby Scandal by Jules Bennett!

Synopsis:

'Tis the season…for an unexpected baby surprise…

Taken in at a young age, Ryker Barrett owes the O'Shea family everything. Which means his "little sister" Laney is way off-limits…no matter how seductive the brunette beauty is! She's the one woman he can't have a casual fling with…so how in the hell did he end up in her bed?

Holiday Baby Scandal releases November 1, 2016!

Why I'm waiting:

Accidental pregnancies, secret babies, and pretty much anything along those lines are pretty much like crack to me in my romance novels, so it is no surprise that this romance is at the top of my to-read list for November especially since it is written by an author that has recently become a top favorite of mine. Also, I'm just really excited about the fact that this is Ryker and Laney's book! So, yeah, can it just be November already?

So what are you all waiting on this Wednesday?

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 stars

Southern Nights and Secrets, the fourth book in the Boys are Back in Town series by Robin Covington was a really sexy contemporary romance. Like really sexy and I loved it so much! I didn't get a chance to read the previous three books in this series before I read this book, but the book stands alone really well and because of that I was really able to get really invested in this love story and connect with the main couple, Beck and Ginger.

The love story overall was wonderful. It was emotional and humorous and suspenseful. And while it wasn't my favorite book by this author because it's pretty much impossible to replace her book Her Secret Lover as my fave, it was still a very close second favorite and I can see myself re-reading this book countless times in the future! Also now I have the overwhelming urge to go back and read the first three book in this series!

ARC Review: Fast Connection by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell

Title: Fast Connection

Author: Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell

Synopsis:

After a decade of serving in the Army, everyone still expects me to be Dominic 'Nicky' Costigan--the skirt-chasing player. They don't know I've been spending my days trying to figure out my post-military life. Including how to pick up guys.

When I meet Luke on a hookup app, he makes it clear it's for one-night only. That's fine with me, because I'm down to see what this silver fox can do. But after I arrive at his doorstep, it doesn't take long to realize we have serious chemistry, and we end up meeting again.

He's got more walls around his heart than a military base, but I think he's as addicted to me as I am to him. He can't resist me for long. I mean, who can? Except Luke's rules exist for a reason, and when I test his limits, things get complicated. Maybe too complicated.

*FAST CONNECTION is a standalone, full-length romance novel with no cliffhanger

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

I swore I had already wrote a review for this book, but apparently I didn't so here we go. This book was absolutely amazing! While I had liked the previous book in this series, Strong Signal, I ended up loving Fast Connection so much more! And the fact that I loved this book as much as I did was really unexpected because I really hated Dominic Costigan when he appeared in Strong Signal, but in this book I absolutely fell in love with his character. He really redeemed himself in my eyes and I just couldn't get enough of him. And then we have Luke. Luke was everything I wanted him to be and so much more. And when it came to his character I really enjoyed the way that his ex and children were included in the story. I'm always wary of past relationships and grown children from previous relationships in books, but in this book I loved them. But anywho back to the romance. The romance in this book was absolutely amazing! It developed in a way and at a pace that felt very natural and had me on the edge of my seat excited waiting to see how things were going to turn out between these two. And thankfully Megan and Santino delivered an HEA that I'm still thinking about months later. Yeah, so if you haven't had a chance to read this book yet, I highly suggest one-clicking it ASAP!

ARC Review: A Summer to Remember by Marilyn Pappano

Title: A Summer to Remember

Elliot's new mission: gain Fia's trust...and convince her that summer's end can mean a new beginning.

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

3 out of 5 stars

So while I liked A Summer to Remember well enough, I just didn't love the story as much as I wanted to. The characters themselves were great and I loved the love story, I just didn't connect with the story as much as I wanted to. I think this was mostly due to the fact that the author has two different storylines in this book. There is the main one featuring Fia and Elliot, the main couple and then there is a storyline following Marti and Dillon. While I really liked everything that was going on between Marti and Dillon every time the narrative switched to them from Fia and Elliot it just pulled me out of the book. I realized while reading this book that I'm just not a fan of a book focusing on more than one couple because it really stopped me from getting too invested in the characters and the story and this book ended up being just an okay read for me as a result. With that said I would still recommend this book to people who don't have an problem with reading about two couples at the same time because despite that this book really was a nice, sweet romance.

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

I have read and liked all of Jennifer Blackwood's books to date, but I absolutely LOVED Landing the Air Marshal. This book was amazing in every way. The set-up, the characters, the way everything progressed completely grabbed my attention and I couldn't get enough of this book. Gage and Abby are by far my favorite couple created by this author, which is surprising given that we don't actually get to spend as much time with them as we do with the previous couples in Blackwood's other books due to Landing the Air Marshal's more condensed timeline. But while we spend a shorter amount of time with these two, they really got under my skin that I couldn't get them out of my head for weeks after finishing this book. Then, in regards to this books plot, I really loved the snowpocalpyse setting. It made me realize that I don't read enough books with this set-up because it truly is a wonderfully fun set-up for a romance. But, yeah, overall I really, really loved this book! The author teased us about her "dirty air marshal" book for months and now that I've read it I can honestly say that it was just as dirty and fun as the author promised and worth all the waiting I had to do for it. It was a great contemporary romance and the perfect example as to why I will continue to read this author's books in the future no matter what they are about because she never lets me down and always delivers a fun and sexy read!

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

This review is going to be super, super short since there is not much extra I can say about this book that I didn't already say in my review of the first two parts of this serial. The only thing that I'm going to say is that this book was amazingly hot and it was the perfect ending to one of the best erotic stories I have ever read. Seriously, this story was perfect in every way and now that all three parts are out, I can see myself diving back into this serial again and again because I couldn't get enough of Jack and Danielle.

Joint ARC Review: Hands On AND Body Contact by Cathryn Fox

Title: Hands On

Author: Cathryn Fox

Synopsis:

Hands On is the first of a three-part erotic series from New York Times and USA best-selling author Cathryn Fox.

His sexy lessons are ones she’ll never forget…

When hot as hell Danielle Lang showed up and asked me to teach her about sex, I thought I was hallucinating. Turns out the beautiful psychologist needed an extra bit of schooling in all things sexual so she could teach a class.

I’m always up for helping a friend. I mean, it’s the least I can do. What I wasn’t expecting is for her to turn the tables and teach me a few things. Only this short-term promise of two weeks in her bed is going by a little too quickly. Not that I’m thinking forever or anything.

I’ve got a football career to get back to. And she doesn’t want to be a part of my world. There’s no way we can be together—so I’m going to make sure I enjoy every sexy second….

Title: Body Contact

Author: Cathryn Fox

Synopsis:

Body Contact is the second of a three-part erotic series from New York Times and USA best-selling author Cathryn Fox.
She needs some hands-on experience. And he’s got big hands.

Asking pro football player Jack Rider to teach me everything he knows about sex might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I’m not so sure I can handle a guy like him. I thought he’d just straight up do me, ridding me of my pesky virginity sooner rather than later. But no, he had his own ideas about bringing me up to speed on sex. His two weeks of slow seduction might just be the death of me, but since he’s the one in charge, I have to play the game his way.  Not that I’m not enjoying it. I am. Who wouldn’t, right? I guess I just can’t help but wonder how I’ll ever let another man touch me after him.

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

I feel like I must start off this review by letting it be known that I usually avoid serials like the plague, but I had liked Cathryn Fox's books in the past so I decided to give Hands On a try and I got to say that it and the second part in this serial, Body Contact, made me want to read all the serials. This book was so good and oh so hot. Like really, really hot and that is saying something since Danielle and Jack don't actually have full blown sex in these two parts of the serial. But, yeah, as much as I loved all the steaminess in these stories what I loved the most is the progression of things especially since it's a serial, so the author was really able to build the anticipation and draw out the story in a very satisfactory way so I was never mad that I had to wait for the next part in the serial. Overall, in my opinion these two stories were erotica at its best and the perfect example as to why I'm going to be reading all the Scorched books in the near future!

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

Katie Ruggle really made the Search & Rescue crew go out with a bang in this book and I loved every word of it. It was such a wonderful and jaw-dropping romantic suspense novel that was pretty much flawless. Daisy and Chris were absolutely amazing and I really loved the way their relationship progressed. Also, I just really loved Daisy as a character. I was a little doubtful I would love her as much as I did since I wasn't sure how I would feel about her fear of going outside, but it actually didn't bother me. I really liked the way the author dealt with the situation and how it affected the flow of the plot and the relationship between Chris and Daisy. The thing I loved the most though in this book was how the whole HDG investigation came to a close. I'm not used to having a mystery such as this drawn out over multiple books in a series, but Katie killed it with her execution of it. And then after everything was said and done the ending of the book was absolutely wonderful. It sucks that I have to say goodbye to these characters, but Katie ended it so perfectly that I ain't even mad.

ARC Review: Gone Too Deep by Katie Ruggle

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

Gone Too Deep, the third book in Katie Ruggle's Search & Rescue series was another absolutely incredible romantic suspense novel and as a result this review is going to be really short because I really don't have much to say other than that this book was amazing and EVERYONE needs to read it ASAP. I will say this though, the couple in this book, George and Ellie were my favorite couple of all the couples in this series! There's something about the city girl and the big, rugged mountain man scenario that I just really liked. Also, while it's not related to George and Ellie specifically, I just really loved the cliffhanger at the end of this book. It completely wrecked me and left me with a major book hangover for weeks. I really wasn't expecting that reveal at the end, so I got to applaud Katie for it. Anywho, I love, love. loved this book and I really doubt that any other romantic suspense book I ever read will ever top it.

ARC Review: Till I Kissed You by Laura Trentham

Title: Till I Kissed You

Author: Laura Trentham

Synopsis:

But will a common enemy be enough to unite them—and finally fulfill the promises they made one passionate night under the stars?

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

Till I Kissed You, the third book in Laura Trentham's Cottonbloom series is my favorite of the three books in this series so far! Given all the build up in the previous two book in regards to Regan and Sawyer's history and feelings towards each out, this was the book I was most excited for when I got to and the author absolutely met all of my expectations for this book. It is no secret that I love enemies to lovers romances, but this book was even better because it was lovers to enemies back to lovers. But as much as I loved the romance in this book, I loved all the stuff going on around the romance the most. All the chaos caused by Regan and Sawyer trying to throw competing festivals and the fact that someone was trying to sabotage them both. It was all very exciting and I loved getting to see the way Regan and Sawyer worked together to figure out who was behind everything. And then on top of all that other goodness, the author ended this book with one of the most adorable and heartwarming epilogues ever. It was the perfect ending to the Fournette siblings's stories and it solidified this series as one of my all-time favorite contemporary romance series!

5 out of 5 stars

Then He Kissed Me, the second book in Laura Trentham's Cottonbloom series, was a phenomenal contemporary romance novel. Seriously, people, this book was all types of amazing. First off, I loved that the hero of this book wasn't your typical alpha male. Nash was nerdy and adorable and I loved him so much. Secondly, I loved Tally. She was great heroine to follow in this book and while I wasn't able to personally identify with her character, I did connect with her. Thirdly, the romance in this book was absolutely marvelous. I love me a good romance with characters who have a ton of history and Tally and Nash totally had that going for them and more. Lastly, I just really loved the setting of Cottonbloom. This small town setting really wins this book for me. There is just something about the types of situations and characters that arise when you have a book set in small towns that I just can't get enough of and Cottonbloom is my all-time favorite. Overall, I really, really loved this book! It is one of my all-time favorite romances ever and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers!

Pretending with the Greek Billionaire was another great contemporary romance read from Kira Archer! I wasn't sure if I was going to like it because I felt like the fact that Constance was essentially the foster mother to six little girls would distract too much from the romance but it actually didn't and like with the previous books I've read by this author I really liked this love story. This story was so much fun and while it focuses on two people pretending to be in a relationship the chemistry between these two was so real and I never doubted for a second that Luca and Constance were meant to be together. Anywho, I loved so much about this book, but what I loved the most was the way things progressed and of course the way that Luca won Constance's heart in the end. It was so heartwarming and made this book an absolute win for me.
