Right before Thanksgiving, Ashley over at Falling Down the Book Hole came up with the awesome idea to have a blogger book club.
Basically the gist of this book club is that every month we pick a theme and a book and as well as reading and reviewing the book, every week we will host fun feature posts about the chosen book such as recommendations, playlists, discussions, etc all centered on the book chosen on our individual blogs.
For our first month, December, our theme is RETELLINGS and the book we have chosen to read is A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES by Sarah J. Maas!
This book is one that has been on my TBR for a while and I'm really excited to be reading it along with Ashley for the the month of December and sharing some fun posts centered on it over the next few weeks!!
About the Book:
When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin--one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.
As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow over the faerie lands is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin--and his world--forever.
