Ten years ago when Shane Maguire chose the Marines as his escape from some trouble of his own making, he only regretted one thing—leaving Sinclair Smith behind. Despite his best intentions, she ended up as the one that got away. Now he’s back, determined to reclaim everything he gave up, including Sinclair.
Sinclair is immune to Shane’s charms. She’s immune to stolen kisses behind the gym. And she’s definitely immune to that maneuver he did in the back seat of his car… Okay, maybe her hormones are susceptible, but she has absolutely no desire to risk anything on the bad boy who broke all his promises.
When a little emergency lands her at his mercy, he offers her a deal she can’t refuse. And this time, she’ll show Shane what it means to be left wanting…

5 out of 5 stars
Emergency Attraction, the third book in Samanthe Beck's Love Emergency series, was an absolutely amazing contemporary romance. This book was such an exceptional second chance love story with some especially juicy history between the heroine and hero, Sinclair and Shane and I absolutely could not get enough. This was a bit surprising since I didn't pay Sinclair much mind in previous books and when I started reading this book it actually took me a little while to remember who she was, but once I remembered who she was her character and the the things she had to go through really grabbed my attention and through what happens in this book she ended up becoming my favorite of this author's characters ever. Shane on the other hand, I loved immediately. He was so ridiculously charming that I couldn't really help but love him even while Sinclair "hated" him. But as much as I loved him, he wasn't perfect by any means. He was one of those characters who owned up to his mistakes and had really made a change for the better. I mean it took him 10 years to be where Sinclair needed him to be and they still had a lot of problems to deal with since Sinclair wasn't 100% honest with him, but the point is that they both got there. That development is what made this romance so satisfying. There was a lot of painful history between Sinclair and Shane and these two had a lot to work out, but I never doubted that their love was genuine and that really sold this book for me. I loved this book so much and obviously I highly recommend it!
