5 out of 5 stars
In a Ranger's Arms was a fun, sexy, light-hearted contemporary romance. It was everything that I expect when I pick up one of Entangled's Lovestruck titles and more. First off, I just really loved the set up in this book. The fact that Jovy moved to town to set up a vegan restaurant to prove herself to her grandfather and Stone was her landlord was all really entertaining and led to some interesting developments. Secondly, the characters were wonderful. Jovy was a strong and driven heroine and I could really get behind her and root for her. As for Stone, he was such an overprotective alpha hero that is always shouldering everyone else problems and I loved him for it. Lastly, the romance in this book was on point. I loved the way that Stone and Jovy were together and the fact that they initially had a strong dislike for each other made everything else that happens so much better. Jovy and Stone fell so hard and so fast for each other and I enjoyed their love story so much. Even with Stone's stubbornness over some things that I won't spoil in my review, I found their love story pretty much perfect! Overall, this book was a great romance. Donna Michaels is a new-to-me author for me, so starting with this book was a good decision on my part because I loved it so much and now I can't wait to read more by this author.
