ARC Review: A Millionaire at Midnight by Naima Simone

Title: A Millionaire at Midnight

Author: Naima Simone

Synopsis:

Boston socialite Morgan Lett is having a run of bad luck. Her fiancé just dumped her for her stepsister, the charity foundation she’s given her life to is in danger of folding, and now, the gorgeous man she bid on and won at a masquerade bachelor auction turns out to be a cold-hearted jerk…and her new employer.

Millionaire Alexander Bishop needs the best wife money can buy. In order to inherit his family business, he must get engaged—fast. And Morgan, with her beauty and pedigree, is the perfect candidate. Her sharp tongue may drive him crazy, but she needs money to save the foundation she loves, and he needs a fiancée. It’s a flawless arrangement—no strings, no love. But soon she has him craving more, and cursing the platonic terms of their agreement.

Still, he won’t allow need—no matter how hot it burns—to threaten everything he’s built.

***MY REVIEW***

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 stars

A Millionaire at Midnight was another great addition to Naima Simone's Bachelor Auction series! Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I'm a really big fan of the fake relationship trope in romance novels and the one that Naima Simone created in this book was a fun one for many reasons.

First off, I loved Morgan. Naima Simone never lets me down with her books' heroines, but Morgan is by far my favorite so far. And then we have Alexander Bishop.  I have to admit I didn't love him as much as I loved Morgan, but he was still a great character to read about.

As for the romance in this book like with any Naima Simone book it was 100% on point in every way. From their first meeting at the auction to them finding out that Alex was Morgan's new boss and from Morgan basically propositioning him to be his fake fiancee to them of course being unable to resist each other and falling in love. There was absolutely nothing that I did not love about this romance. It was almost flawless and books like this are why Naima Simone is one of my auto-read romance authors!
